This Angry Birds invitation was commissioned by my 5 year old. He was very specific about where everything had to be. Apparently, all of the characters have names. I am not sure if he made them up himself. The black bird is “Bomb-berg” and he needed to be on the floor, the yellow one is Speedy and he had to be in the slingshot because he’s really fast! The one with the beak turns into three when you press him. He actually really believes that he should be dug into the dirt but for design purposes, I chose to ignore this request. The white bird is just the bird that watches them - I think by this point he was making things up just to show off. Nonetheless, I’m kinda crazy about it! A lot crazy about this kid of mine!

And as if that wasn’t enough, he decided he wanted the invitation to have a photo. But he refused all of the photos I chose for him. Why? Because his sister wasn’t in any of them! I am not posting his actual photo used. It wouldn’t make sense in trying to sell them so I chose a picture of him at 4.

I never realized the plethora of requests I would get. I am learning about Monster High, Abby Cadabby, Angry Birds and a whole lot of other birthday themes from my super chic clients. This was one of the Abby Cadabby birthday invitations I designed for sweet C.C. They feature 2 different Abby Cadabby’s, the signature Sesame Street sign, and polka dots in pinks and purple.

We have a pink and blue plaid collection and a mix of the two! Aren’t they lovely?
